The header in the 1970 final

Pelé's header that opened the scoring in the 1970 final, Brazil's 100th World Cup goal.

In the 18th minute Rivellino crossed from the left. Pelé jumped and headed it in. He then leapt into Jairzinho's arms, a photograph that became one of the best-known images of the tournament.

The goal was Brazil's 100th at World Cups. Italy equalised before half-time, but Brazil scored three more in the second half.
