Brazil's opponents in the 1970 World Cup final, beaten 4–1 at the Estadio Azteca.
Italy and Brazil had both won the World Cup twice before 1970, so the winner of the final would keep the Jules Rimet Trophy. Pelé headed Brazil in front, Roberto Boninsegna equalised, and Brazil scored three more in the second half.
