The first goal of Pelé's senior career, scored for Santos at 15 in a friendly against Corinthians de Santo André.
Pelé scored in his first match for Santos, a 7–1 friendly win in Santo André on 7 September 1956. The goalkeeper, Zaluar, later joked about being the first of more than a thousand.
He had signed for Santos only that June and would not become a regular in the team until the following season.
