His first World Cup goal

The only goal of the 1958 quarter-final against Wales, which made Pelé the youngest World Cup scorer to that date.

In the 66th minute of the quarter-final in Gothenburg, Pelé turned in the box and shot past the Welsh defence. He was 17 years and 239 days old.

It was the only goal of the match and took Brazil into the semi-finals against France.
