The shot from his own half
Pelé's attempt to lob the Czechoslovak goalkeeper from his own half in 1970, which went just wide.
Pelé noticed that Ivo Viktor, the Czechoslovak goalkeeper, was standing well off his line. He shot from just inside his own half. Viktor scrambled back, and the ball dropped just wide of the post. It did not go in, but it is one of the most replayed moments of the 1970 World Cup.
